Ladies Cuban Styling

Sharon dancing With Sharon from Dance Cuban.

Cuban Salsa is natural, flowing and evocative of the Cuban Culture. The rhythms come from the drums of the African slaves mixed with sounds brought by the Spanish invaders. The step has its roots in Africa with its complete connection to the earth. The body movements tell the story of the Cuban rumba, which can change between being coy, seductive or outright flirtatious! The movements are always measured, just enough to put the message across, but what a message!!

The workshops will help you to use body movements and isolations in your dancing to create your own Cuban Style. It will also help you structure your dance to give it Cuban sabor (flavour).

You are advised to wear comfortable footwear and clothing, and for the Rumba class bring a long loose skirt or scarf.

For more information please call Sharon on 07969 706573 or just turn up.

Needless to say please inform me of any medical conditions that could affect you in the workshop.
